Batch Burn-Off Oven Product Information:

Welded Construction
Outside walls are made from 12 and 14-gauge steel, reinforced and lined with insulation material pressed into welded studs and retained with heavy-duty expanded panels.

Total Insulation
Oven is insulated with 1200 ºF rated mineral fiber blanket 4" thick on sidewalls and roof. Oven floor is a 2300 ºF poured castable refractory, providing a hard durable surface for cleaning and service.

No-Sag Doors
Heavy-duty insulated doors are furnished with cam lock door hardware top and bottom on single door models, top, bottom, and center on double door models. The cam lock arrangement is essential for sealing the doors airtight during the heating cycle. Doors include high temperature gaskets around door perimeter and at closures.

Explosion Relief Panel
Explosion relief panels allow excess pressure on inside of oven to equalize with outside pressures without danger to equipment, operators, or facilities. Hinged explosion relief panels are designed into the roof of the oven that allows adequate pressure relief by swinging open and then closing immediately by gravity.

FM Option
The following additional combustion control items are included to meet Factory Mutual Insurance Association requirements:

* FM burners,
* Automatic gas solenoid valve
* Flame safeguard control (non-recycle)
* Ignition transformer.

Control Panel
NEMA-12 rated control panel, complete with door hardware. Mounted inside the cabinet on a removable panel insert will be a 15 amp circuit breaker, control relays, interlocks, timer and terminal strips. Mounted on the control panel door will be pushbuttons, indicating lights, programmable controller/timer, and afterburner temperature read-out. The control panel is factory pre-wired.

Safety Controls
Standard system includes state-of-the-art micro-based controls used to control temperature, water suppression, and cycle time. A dual-element temperature-sensing unit, placed in the oven chamber, senses temperature and provides a digital read-out on the corresponding instrument mounted in the control panel door. This device will sense excessive temperatures based upon a safe operating set point. Should excess heat be generated by the coatings, water is automatically injected into the oven to absorb this heat and reduce the oven temperature. Also includes a state-of-the-art dual-element temperature-sensing unit placed in the afterburner chamber.

IRI Option
Industrial Risk Insurers require two (2) safety add-ons in addition to the FM package.

HI/LOW Fire Afterburner Option
This option addresses EPA concerns of the afterburner being at temperature prior to release of smoke.
