We have a product for every budget and need from 2 man portables to 75 HP Eurovac III systems for large production shops. The following are some of the benefits of a dust extraction system:

LESS STAFF TURN OVER...EASIER TO HIRE AND KEEP GOOD TECHNICIANS...This is the major benefit shop owners report after buying a dust extraction system. Once used to a clean environment it is difficult to return to a "dust mill". Replacing people is expensive, how often do you have a change? How difficult is it to find good body men?

REDUCED LIABILITY...Reduces your company’s liability from employees suing your company if they contact any kind of breathing ailments.

PAYS FOR ITSELF...Sandpaper costs should be reduced by 30%-40% because the sandpaper lasts longer when the sanding dust is not allowed to build up on the sanding discs. Most sandpaper is thrown away blocked not worn.

REDUCED CLEAN UP COSTS...Body filler and paint sanding are the main causes of dust. Clean up is constant and expensive and sweeping puts a lot of settled dust back into circulation. Your body men could vacuum their bays each day.

REDUCED PAINT REPAIR AND RE-PAINTS...Reduces the risk of sanding dust getting in paint jobs. If sanding dust is not picked up at the source, the dust has a way of getting into the paint booths even with down draft paint booths and filtered clean air.

BETTER PAINT JOBS...By vacuuming away sanding dust, the sanding discs have little build up of grit which causes swirl marks.

MORE BUSINESS...It is a proven fact that customers prefer to leave their cars in a clean shop, they don’t want them covered in dust. They can make a comparison when shopping for estimates! How many of your estimates do not return?

TOOLS...A vacuum system is only as good as the dustless sanding tools. It is most important that you buy new vacuum ready tools or have your existing tools converted to vacuum ready tools. Most North American tool manufacturers make their orbital and straight line sanding tools in both vacuum and non-vacuum models. The parts are usually interchangeable so you can usually convert your existing tools so they are the same as they would be if you bought a new vacuum tool. As well, there are some universal conversion kits available which work quite well.

If you are buying new tools in anticipation of getting a vacuum system make sure you buy "vacuum ready" tools as opposed to "vacuum assist" tools. Vacuum assist tools which produce a vacuum by a venturi effect from the compressed air are not as effective as vacuum ready tools which have a much larger vacuum take-off to take away the sanding dust.

A lot of shops don’t realize that vacuum hand sanders and vacuum grinders are available. If you use grinders to strip paint conversion kits are available with holes in the pad and sanding discs. For higher speed grinders, shrouds are available.

sanding dust extractionEUROVAC II 2 MAN PORTABLE - The Eurovac 2man  Portable has a powerful 2.5 H.P. 1440 watt motor that gives much more suction than most portables on the market. As well, the combination of a cyclone plus cartridge filter gives superior filtration allowing the vacuum unit to operate at maximum efficiency. The primary cyclonic filtration removes 85% of the sanding dust before the secondary cartridge filter resulting in a longer life and less cleaning required for the cartridge filter. As you can see in the attached brochure the 2 man Portable includes many other features including the unit being automatically turned on when the tool is in use. This unit comes complete with two 25' x 1-1/4" vacuum hoses with airline.

sanding dust extractionEUROVAC II CENTRAL - the budget priced 4 man system. Uses 220v 5 HP, brush type motors and graduated 2" to 3" PVC pipe. Inlets can be wall mounted or hanging. The system is turned on and off when the technician plugs the vacuum hose in. The separator includes primary cyclonic separation and a secondary cartridge filter with manual compressed air reverse pulse jet cleaning. Performance is good, price is low but is limited to 200 ft. pipe, so most popular for 2 to 6 man shops. Includes everything needed for a 4 man system.

sanding dust extractionEUROVAC I CENTRAL - a 3 phase industrial grade Turbine System with graduated metal pipe. Sealed turbine pumps are maintenance free (does not have brushes) and rated for 22,000 hours running time and uses less electricity than 120v. Available in sizes ranging from 5HP to 10 HP capable of handling shops with up to 12 technicians sanding. These systems can be expanded as the customer's business increases and they hire more technicians or build on to their existing facilities. Combination cyclonic separation with a cartridge filter and automatic compressed air pulse jet cleaning gives superior cleaning. The work stations for the Eurovac I system can be dropped from the ceiling between the bays or wall mounted. The system is turned on and off automatically when the technician plugs the vacuum hose in.

dust extractionEUROVAC III CENTRAL - 15 HP TO 75 HP, centrifugal multi stage pumps individually engineered for length of run, type of tools being used and number of technicians using the system at the same time. The separator includes primary cyclonic separation and a secondary cartridge filter with manual compressed air reverse pulse jet cleaning. Eurovac III Multi-Stage Pump Systems are ideal for large shops or plants having the capacity to provide up to 2000 CFM and high levels of vacuum (8.5" Hg+) to offset friction losses in large systems with large amount of pipe. The advantage of multi-stage pumps is that they supply a constant vacuum as more people are added to the system. They are also very reliable with little or no maintenance required.
